Hello Jimmy and Welcome.

Here is the current list of available tutorials.
http://www.elysiun.com/viewtopic.php?t=4624

When I first started out I began here:
http://www.ingiebee.com/tutorials.htm

This covers many of the features of Blender, including an introduction to the interface, which is key for a beginner.

I’m not sure if you are new to 3D, but after you get a basic understanding of the tools in Blender try modeling simple objects, then applying materials, and then textures.

Another school of though is to try to model something difficult and you can learn by your mistakes.

Either way Blender is an excellent tool, and once you get a grasp of how it works you’ll be fine.

Good luck.

when I started modeling way back when my first model was an F-16. I pretty much learned the way ec2 said. I started with a complicated object and learned from my mistakes and learned about quads, planar polygons, sufaces, etc. Oh, and most importantly the bevel.http://members.aol.com/skyf41/images/squeaksemoticon.gif
