I’ve never faced myself with that add-on before, but seems to me that it’s just a window of all of your image textures

Hmm… there was an addon introduction some time ago… for a “smarter” texture selection… (and of course i doesn’t find it now… maybe it was elsewhere… )

That might just be a File Browser window. (With minimal UI and Display Mode set to Thumbnails.)

This is the File Browser.
You can select the file you need and drag it to get it.

I didn’t even know i could keep a file selector open :open_mouth:
This is an awesome feature ! Now i’d say << too bad we cannot browse blend files content just like it is done when appending or linking objects ! >>
