I dug out some old meshes I made about 15 years ago and ported them into Blender. They are re- imaginings of the Vorlon ships from Babylon 5
I’m still working on fixing some geometry issues and adding more detail to them. I also need to do some more work on getting the materials right - but I just thought i’d share.
From left to right:
Atmospheric Fighter (my design)
Space fighter (similar to the ones seen on the show)
Transport (similar to the ones seen on the show)
Heavy Cruiser (my design)
I do have a 5th design, similar to the fighter, but slightly smaller and with 3 fold rather than 4 fold symmetry, but I haven’t got round to converting that one yet.
I did have them animated at one point and the petal shaped wings would open. I hope to be able to re-create this soon too.
