I got a ton of objects. I made a sim. All good. Now I want to bake the animation. If I use the bake to keyframe, the objects move somewhere else in the world and the animation gets screwed up, like objects that were hitting the floor are not aligned anymore. If I try Bake Animation, it works but as soon as I delete the rigid bodies, the rotations get screws up. The objects are not parented and the transforms were applied before the sim. Any ideas?
Is this a rigid body simulation? If so there are a few tricks i have learned. 1. If rigid body baking is not working save and reload delete all bakes and rebake. 2. Also scale of the objects and the origin of each object. The other problem with blenders rigid bodies is the simulation quality and stability. For example sometimes the rigid body world gets broken and will have cache data from frame 0 eventhough you baked at frame 1. If youbare able to share the blend file i can probably make it work
