Baked texture is black

when baking textures in combine mode, the texture shows up black
when baking in diffuse mode (only color), the texture shows up colored
i cannot figure out why and i just want a shiny looking texture

…there was some problems with metalic and roughness =0…
i also have some problems with my graphiccard using subsurface = 0 in eevee… (not in 3.2 or so…)

(your subsurface solor is also balck but then then value is 0 so this shoudl not be the problem… but… :wink: )

Also: according to the image this seems to be the material and texture for the whole knife… but eh black appears only onthe eddges of the blade…
So: are there any overlapping / other geometry (also at the handle towards the blade there is some “overlapping” (?) diamond like shape )

Also to add…I see you still have your Roughness texture set at RGB, it should be Non-color Data…and Ill bet the Normal Texture is the same but it’s cut off…

i disconnected the roughness and the normal wasnt connected to anything
