Baking Texture is always black (Cycle Renderer)


I made a Stone in Blender using the Biscet Tool.
I made a HighPoly Version and baked out of it my normal via “from selected to active”.

Now for my diffuse I tried the same process, but the because the different UVs that seems not to work.

So I want to bake it directly. But the baked Texture is nearly completely black. In Render Mode it looks fine.

Baking process in cycles can be strange if you miss one step, so please follow this tut

The image texture that you create before the bake in the image editor has to be the one that is in your image texture node, otherwise the image has no destination to bake to. It’s odd, I know.
