Bar Lounge

Hi,

I tried to create a Bar lounge, with a relaxed atmosphere, but I feel something is missing. Has anyone some hints for me? Thanks in advance.

Bottles, glasses, snacks, people… ?

You could do some more work on the lighting and textures. Maybe direct the wall lights a little more to the wall to get some nice reflected beams, the hanging lamps seem to have a very large radius and no light coming from the bottom.

Your textures seem flat, some bump/normals would help on the floor, plants and cloth chairs etc.

Right now it’s got a nice “Vegas in the 70’s” feel and mood to it. But I think that I’d do something about those black walls, particularly in the back of the hall. To the right of those six blue squares it’s getting pretty dark.

Anyway, if you were putting together, say, “an advertising brochure to be sent to event organizers,” you probably would want to depict the space in this way – namely, “utterly clean and inviting.” And, you’d be pretty darned happy with this image, even as it is right now. “It sells the space, effectively.” As a “real” photographer would strive to do for his client.

The table tops could use more thickness.
