Basic Question --- How to move Key frame ?

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me how to move my keyframe in blender? Both in Timeline and Curve editor ?

I put a keyframe at 1st frame then move the object a little in the x axis and put a key at 50th. Now I want to shift the key frame in 30th frame. No Idea what to do.

In graph editor or dopesheet select the keyframe and move as you would move anything else. Shortcut G and X to constrain the x axis or just select and drag with the RMB

Hi Richard,

Thanks for the support. I also find out the way to change the value and "frame number" of the key frame.

can I shift the key frames in the timeline ?
No. If there was the option I would have mentioned it

I also find out the way to change the value and “frame number” of the key frame.
In graph editor select keyframe and press N or look in the View menu to display its properties (same way to show properties in other editors)

Thanks again …

You can move keyframes in the timeline using the old (unofficial now I guess) version of Frankie’s anim scrubber addon. You can find it by googling polycount anim scrubber. First you’ll have to start from the keyframe you want to move (by pressing jump to next keyframe and so on), then start the modal thing with alt+click and when you’ve scrubbed to the frame you want to move the keyframe to you press the middle mouse button (still holding alt). It feels kind of strange but you can change the keys if you want to.
