Batch repeat action (as, for example mark seam)

Hello,

I have a set of eyelets and I need to “mark seam” on all of them. Is there a way to “batch” shift+R?

No, but you can use some of the many selection methods to select everything you want as a seam at once and then mark seam.

e.g.

Hope that helps.

If the meshes are identical, you can select them all in object mode, press shift+L and choose “link object data”. This will cause all the objects to become instances (aka linked duplicates). Instances are objects that share the same mesh. Then, any change you do to one of them in edit mode will happen to all.

Unfortunatly, none of them work. I will have to select them one by one. Never mind. You live and learn. Next time, I will plan seams sooner. Thanks anyway.
