Hello, I hope you like this new piece, part of my personal project Heroes of Bronze!
This one depicts the first moments of the famous battle at Thermopylae (480 BC) where 7000 Greek hoplites lead by the Spartan king Leonidas I. held against 100 000 Persian troops for three days. Overconfident about their numerical superiority, the Persian troops threw themselves at the Greek phalanx not knowing what awaits them.
This piece was created in Blender 2.8, rendered with Cycles. I used Substance Painter for texturing and Photoshop for final touches.
