Beat him! Ghostdude’s a ragdoll, and he’s attacking you. This is an simple FPS.
It’s another one of my physics tests.
The system is quite simple: A cube has been parented to his torso, and it moves him towards you, always. You must defeat him before he pushes you through a wall.
Also, when the cube is destroyed(hit his torso 10 times) he will fall as a ragdoll and wont do you any harm.
controls
WASD - move
Numpad 4. 5, 6, 8 - control camera
Numpad 0 - shoot
This would be a pretty nice system for a game where flying ragdolls fight. When the other dies, the cube is destroyed and he falls to the ground. Sometimes the ragdoll stays in the air until he has been hit something, for some reason. Maybe Blender doesn’t account the cube removal before something moves the ragdoll.
@[Killer] & Spiffyandy : Well it needs atleast RC1 to get it working. (I did it with this, so you might try them.)
Same time, i got a theory idea:
Maybe by creating cubes and parenting them to different parts of the ragdoll, you could create an armature-style system for moving the ragdolls parts. For the torso you could create a plane that makes the character stay up. When the character dies, all the cubes are removed, and as it loses all the support(the ragdoll i mean) it falls to the ground.
But, remember it’s only an theory. And untested.
Maybe I or someone else could try this system sometime?
