(beginner) How can I bake a specific mesh animation

Hey guys…

So i have created an ocean animation in Realflow, created a mesh from it in Realflow and imported this mesh into Blender with the Alembic import method.

So far so good. Im able to use the mesh, alter it, add materials to it etc etc. I dont think im going to change it anymore, so I want to bake this ocean mesh so i wont put so much stress on my computer/rendering anymore.

Can you guys tell me how to do this… and more importantly… after it’s baked… what are the things I can still do to the mehs (change material, scale it? etc? )
