Can’t offer many hints from looking at a beauty render. You may have some serious proportion problems or it may just be the camera angle. Best thing to show to get good advice is wires, in front and side view, from screenshots [Ctrl+F3]. By ‘wires’ I mean a picture taken in edit mode, with the mesh in solid draw type, wire select mode. Activate the no-see-through option [aka ‘limit selection to visible’] to keep the confusion to a minimum. Also use the ‘apply modifier to edit cage’ button in the subsurf panel.
