This is a project to ease me into character rigging. I chose Bender, because, aside what his name might suggest, he doesn’t bend that much. It should be a fairly simple rig compared to a more organic character. We shall find out. The modeling is done and next step is creating the rig and then the final textures. Eventually I’ll set him up in a proper scene.

I put the finishing touches on the modeling and decided to go ahead and get the texturing out of the way as well. I rendered him using Cycles. Now time to learn how to rig.

I plan on posting the .blend when I get the rig complete. And don’t worry adam, there’s plenty of debauchery in this guys future.
The next big update. I’ve begun building the scene. I hate the couch and will be remaking it from scratch. Also the scenery outside the window is just filler. I plan on actually making those buildings so they look accurate. Will also be adding some more squalor.
