Bert's Scetchbook

I like the last one too!

Been perfecting my skin shader.
I consider it finished.
Might tweak when I need it in the future.

Well I hope to see thous alphas in work with your shader!

Got it retopo-ed and been detailling it again with the multires modifier.
Still a couple of things that are needed to fix.
After that I will start adding the pore detail… Probably painting the bump map.

The last one is very interesting and intense! the nose us somehow falling behind of the rest. The ears look great like the ears of an mma fighter.

Do you mean the nose lacks detail?
Yeah haha the ears are a mess, I plan on cleaning them up in the retopo phase.

Bert

No, I don’t mean the detail, the form is too simple, with no anatomy behind. it just feels not belonging to the same face. (just my personal view)

The ears are lovely! it really looks like an MMA fighter, but normally is just one, or bought, but with a diferent shape.

Dyntopo sculpt.

Been a long time since I posted here.

That latest sculpt is really cool. Love the style.
Something about the eyes and the nose, reminds me of Assel Kozyreva sculpts, love her works.

Hehe, her artstation page was on my second screen while sculpting this bust :stuck_out_tongue:

Thank you!

Definitely see a lot of progress just in a few posts here - the latest really shows a lot of knowledge of anatomy versus the earlier posts. Very cool stuff!

Thank you very much!

Started testing with blender 2.8 eevee and the randow walk sss method. A lot of fun to play with.
Render time: 24 sec (multires object, not optimised at all)
Minor post pro in blender as well.
