My 2 dogs. Also from Gaku Tada’s Deep Paint workshop. This assignment was my first serious attempt at any kind of character, which I never would’ve dared to try before. It’s not anywhere near perfect and there is still a lot to improve, so feedback is welcome and appreciated. I really don’t know what I’m doing when it comes to characters and still trying to understand and get used to non-photoreal/stylized stuff.
Camp Snoopy on AppleTV was my style inspiration and wanted to make it look like an unfinished coloring book - I hope that came across. Am also including my Inktober drawing I modeled off of (and dog tax photo of course).
Deep Paint add-on and Grease Pencil. I might need to go back to this and play with the new Brushstrokes addon.
