Best of my fist book's illustrations!

I recently finished my very first book! A French Cinema school book! I don’t think you guies would be interested by the book itself, but I made a lot of illustrations directly in Blender! Actually, except the photographies and the cover illustration (wich is hand painted), nearly all illustrations are made in Blender! So, I deceided to share with you my favorites ones!

This book contains over 450 illustrations. You’ll excuse me if I don’t show them all to you!

Let,s start with a couple of illustrations I used to show the different shots types…

Those ones have been made to explain how to work with green screen.

This one is based on a photography, but I added a couple of details. I used it to explain some principle of image composition!

This one was to explain an important part of storyboarding : the storyboard presentation! xD

Even if I have my own material, there is a couple of tools i don’t have on hand : it includes a light console, a doly a pro monitor… I also made an image of the sun to illustrate the part wher I talk of natural light!

Just a promotionnal image I made in Blender! (I still don’t have a physical copy of my book!)

And, if you are currious, here is my cover. I painted it with airbrush and colored pencils on gessoed illustration board. The exact same technic used by the legendary artist Drew Struzan for his Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Hook, etc. posters.
