Best way to create irregular polyhedrons

Hello blender community
i’m fairly new to this program (read, basically installed it today)

I think this is the perfect editor to create an irregular polyhedron, see figure for reference, but do you have tips on how to get it done?
I was thinking of starting with a cube, mash it and deform some parts but there may be better ways.

i know it should not be complicated but i’ve learned that it is always better to ask the experts

Really the short, not very helpful answer is yes, by using a variety of tools to add or subtract geometry, and moving points around either by hand, or again with fairly automated tools, these objects would be simple to create. Try to watch some vids on simple concepts, play around, watch or read more difficult stuff when you are ready, play again and so on. Don’t try to take on too much too quick.

it is a complicated 3D shape but also simple.

so you can start piece by piece trying to respect the proportions.

unless you got some math function to create this In 3D
or able to download it from another soft and import in BL!

happy bl

thanks for the advice
yes it turned out not to be that complicated
my main concern was if there was like some feature or function that would do that while i did it all by hand to avoid a moment like '‘if only i knew that before i started’ but indeed it was so simple that that was not the case
mostly i had to learn the language of the program a bit but after a couple of hours i got some good results

I would make the basic shape and then use a Decimate modifier set to a very low value.
