better topology for elbow armor?

Trying to keep the poly count low for this elbow armor, also called a couter. You can tell the shape I’m trying to achieve, but any ideas for better topology? Its meant to be a bit curved at the elbow, not pointed.

How detailed is the rest of the model?
Can you post the .blend file of the piece?, it will save people the trouble of having to remodel it.
If you’re using a picture for reference, it will also help if you can post it.

I’m trying to understand why you need the circular geometry at the center and why you can’t just make straight cuts. Doesn’t look like it adds anything to the silhouette…
