I used a laptop to do this
It’s specs:-
Cpu: core i7,12700 4.7 ghz
Gpu: RTX 3060 6gb
Ram: 32 gb DDR5 4700 ghz
Memory: ssd M2.nvme 1Tb

You would be suprised of how big of a scene you can render in blender. You just need to properly optimize your scene.
For example for forests use particles so that the trees are instanced, as for textures not everything needs to be super high quality especially not something that is in the distance.
