Hello everyone, I am new to Blender and have one small issue.
While extruding, the Bevel modifier disappers. (I cant attach 2 photos)
However if I move the face up, it appears again.
How do I make it active all the time? I suppose I made a mistake somewhere in the mesh, but cannot understand where. Thanks in advance!

That’s totally fine because:
If you select any faces and hit E then the faces are so close that the bevel modifer can’t bevel… (to small difference… actually 0)… but after moving the mouse the faces get some distance and the bevel will work… (this minimum distance also depends on the bevel settings… but 0 will never work).
