Bezier or Nurb Curve Thickness?

Hi Everyone.

Is there any way to give a bezier or Nurbs Curve thickness? See attached picture…the fabric curves from the floor and up to the ceiling…It just looks like a plane right now. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, does anyone know the best way to model fabric? I plan on using a UV texture, but I don’t know the best way to make it look real. Woucl you use the “proportional/ON” setting in object mode and start to modify vertices? Or is there another method?

Thanks!

bezier and nurbs can be transform into mesh

with Alt-c
then you can edit and give it some thickness

In F9, Curve and Surface tab you can use both Extrude and BevOb (another curve).

for making it look more real, you could start pulling verts if you have a really high poly mesh. Or use a couple good bump maps and spec maps.
