all is into the title
yeah. comes for you.
ummâŚtuhopuu is back in the nest, having a joint and a brew
You know what they say: âAsk a stupid questionâŚâ
iâm not native english, so i donât understand your humor.
please be clear
cheers
Tuhopuu is likely going into retirement. Hopefully it will rise from the ashes in some way. It has been a great for devs to try out new features. Iâm a little worried about Joeedhâs He-mesh. Anyone know if itâs still being worked on?
flies? %|
flies = files. is that so hard?
he is asking where to get the tuhopuu download.
Bellorum:
are you serious? they will put it into retirement?
guess this will mean that quite some great amount
of tools and features will go over board with it as well.
too bad.
still cannot believe they will not continue tuhopuuâŚ
sad but true,
the hero keeping tuhopuu in sync with the BF tree retired.
i can fully understand that, since the changes in the BF tree with the new armature system the modifier stack ⌠plus the new UI in tuhopuu, made it impossible to keep it fully functional. More that some of the most active coders in the BF tree donât really care for tuhopuu.
So ATM the only chance i see is
- someone volunteers for keeping tuhopuu up to date
- a new tuhopuu tree (4) is branched from say BF 2.40
Bellorum: no i havenât seen anything happening to HE lately

weâll see
BM
I know, I always follow the CVS updates. I donât believe Iâve seen Joeedh around for quite awhile either. Anyone know what happened? The UI stuff is still scheduled for 2.4, right? Brokens toolbar rocks!
I thought he meant âfliesâ as in âit still fliesâ, or as in âitâs still going onâ.
what is the problem with creating a new tuhopuu tree from the next blender release? i am just curious? how are they treating experimental approaches for the next time?
claas
Probably using a branch-based system like the one that was used for SOC, this proved to take the merging burden from the CVS admin (Hos, in that case) and put it on the coders, which are more apt to merge their own code.
Martin
will there be a farewell release of tuhopuu? like a gold version?
I thought he meant âfliesâ as in âit still fliesâ, or as in âitâs still going onâ.[/quote]
Yes, me too, especially considering that the splashscreen on the Tuhopuu I used last week had a winged gargoyle thing on it.
sorry for the mistake!
as i said, iâm not native english and as you can see, it suc** rather not badly. lol
âfliesâ as in : âis flyingâ but maybe the expression is lost with my translation, it doesnât matterâŚ
Well, i just wanted to know what was going on with tuhopuu tree.
anyway, now you gave me some clues.
thx all for your nice participation
hey Meltdown,
no problem, I guessed you ment âflyingâ âŚso I was right
