Here’s a little Environment/Compositor-Study i did last year.
Still quite like the outcome so i am sharing it here.
The goal was to make a quick scene and iterate fast on, in post/compositer.
These moody kinda dark grades, are my favorites ( I’ve been told it reminds of games like dark souls, but since i’ve haven’t played that, i don’t know if was consciously inspired by that)
A warmer dreamy grade.
And a pretty neutral one, compared to the others.
Briefly about the process:
This was really on the fast side. created in around 6h total, making heavy use of the Geo-scatter Add-on (scatter5)
Assets used are a mix of the Moss- Biome (scatterpack), Graswald and BagaAssets
For Post/grading is used Compositor-nodes in combination with baga’s QuickCompo.
and here’s the render without grading/post (pretty orange, because of volume Blackbody/ansiotrophy).
