i cannot make blender smaller to use drag and drop on MS window

i can append image but is there still room to use the drag and drop ?

It works in 3.6.2

I have just imported the image from explorer straight to Blender.

is it with drag and drop ?
how did you shrink the size of blender

my blender window is full screen and the icon top right don’t shrink the size

Click the icon, then use your cursor to drag/resize the blender window.

i guess i did not know that little trick

with icon at top you can have to sizes of blender window

You can also draw on the taskbar icon, it will bring blender to front so you can drop.

You can start dragging the file, Alt+Tab to Blender, then drop the file.

I usually split the window or if in the texture phase, I will switch to the Shading Workspace…it is set up already…In the Upper Left, you can navigate to your Image Files, set to ICON, and drag and drop to the Lower Right Node Editor…

i was talking about the one when you have 2 window opened up
one for the files explorer and one for blender

Yeah…I used to do that before I learned to split and add a browser to the main window…always fitting with getting the browser back on top…as I hatted trying to work with Blenders window scaled down…
