Black Areas in Text

How do I solve this? Even converted to Mesh and applied Displacment modifier with 0.01 as value, without success. Thanks.

These are overlapping faces - add a Weld and a Decimate modifier

If you already converted it to mesh, go into sculp mode, and voxel-remesh the whole text with some low value (0.005 or something).
It will produce a heavier mesh, that you might want to clean with a decimate modifier, or something else… but the mesh will loose those overlapping areas, becoming a single surface.
