Blender 1.5 Manual and other 90's Blender Content

Hello. I am creating the Worlds largest Blender Archive in History! I need more help. If anyone has the Blender 1.5 manual (Or other Blender Manuals), Old Blender Versions, or any old Blender CDROMs lying around, please copy the files off the CDROM/Blender Version or scan the Blender Manual Pages and send them via email ([email protected]). I will credit each person that helps me with this task to archive Blender a full 100% Thanks!

Ah, bad timing, as I just threw out my 1.5 manual last week when I was doing a cleanup! I would have preferred to send it to you than see it sitting in a recycling bin

You threw out a piece of History? :open_mouth: Why? You could have at least sold it on eBay. No matter, maybe someone else has one. I hope someone else has one. If it’s lost to history, that isn’t good. At least I have an HQ image of the cover.

I am moving house, so I needed to get rid of a lot of old software manuals, etc. Yes it is a shame!
I also have an unbroken collection of the first 12 years of 3dworld magazine, that I will probably have to bin, unless I can find a home for them…

There might be collectors out there that might like to buy the magazines. So, you mentioned you had the Blender 1.5 manual. Does that mean you remember Blender’s beginning?

Ive got a copy. I sent you an email yesterday to which you replied, though I thought it could be useful to post this on the forum as well. I’ll start the scanning process on Friday. Tell me a bit about this archive that you are doing. I had started in blender at sub 1.0, though I never have stayed consistent enough with it to gain a career from 3d art.

My Archive will host rare Blenders like Version 1.54 or 1.43, that don’t exist anymore. There will be old NeoGeo (Company that started Blender) Software as well, like IKA3D, and SGI Traces (Blender Predecessor). Old Blender files, as well. Plugins. Practically the ultimate Blender Archive! In this video, I showed some versions I already found. https://youtu.be/OgIcoP1kNNc

Have you got the Blender 2.0 manual already? Because I have a hardcopy. Sadly missing the cd that came with it, though!

I don’t know if this will be of any use to you, but it took me a while to find, and it’s something you might be able to add to your archive.
You probably already know about this, but I thought I would post it anyway just in case.

now the real challenge, who’s got the archives of very early Blender web pages, I remember, back in the days of NaN, there was sci-fi rendering of a character and his/her mount, also, as vaguely remembered, a buzz lightyear rendering…

For what it’s worth, I have a few old Blender books. I don’t have time to do a proper scan job, but if anyone is interested I’d be happy to ship it to them.

I have some things. I am making a website, and all the interesting things will be on it. https://blenderarchive.neocities.org/

I apologize for the extremely late response. I don’t have that manual. But I do have the 1.5 one now. If you like, there’s still room for the 2.0 one.
