Blender 2.40 (and upcoming 2.41) + Verse

Can somebody make Blender 2.40 work with Verse please (would be nice if developer would include Verse support to 2.41 release) and put it online?
I use WinXP and will install Ubuntu. So it would be nice to have Win32 and Linux build of Blender 2.40 + Verse.

But it is 2.37 build. Is there any 2.40 build with Verse? Or can somebody compile it and upload it? Please.
