Blender 2.5 r30109 - Textured view not displaying UV Test Grid

I am trying to fix my UV’s, and in the texture view I can’t seem to see my UV test grid. Anyone experience this problem?

What’s showing instead of the grid - pink?
Is there a test grid open in the UV/Image editor?
