Blender 2.69 armature X-Axis Mirror option not working (bug?)

Hi.

I am working on a non-humanoid character for my game. When I was about to rig and animate it, I noticed that the X-Axis Mirror option does not work.

I added a single bone to the scene, then I entered edit mode and selected X-Axis Mirror on the left side (T key menu), and extruded a bone to the right. It did not appear on the other side.

Does Blender have a place where I can report this bug? Is there a workaround?
