Blender 2.8 EEVEE - How to see a transparent texture through frosted glass

So I have perhaps a weird situation where I want to see a couple of meshes with transparent textures through a mesh that is essentially frosted glass.

In Cycles, I you set up one material to be the frosted glass and the others to be transparent textures, it happens naturally.

In Eevee I can’t figure out how to make it work with transparent textures.

I’ve included the blend. Tests.zip (1.6 MB)

Not looked at the .blend file yet I’m afraid.

Lets take this one step at a time… first of all, get the frosted glass effect right(ish) with opaque objects behind it. Next, put your transparent textures behind it.

Yep, did that. The blend is setup that way.

I get the transmission through the frosted glass object to work if the transparent texture object’s blend mode is set to “opaque” but not if it’s set to “alpha blend”.

(two seconds later)
I just realized that if I tried “alpha hashed” or “alpha clip” it works. So… solved, I guess?. I’m including screenshots and the blend.

Blend mode set to “Alpha Blend”

Blend mode set to “Opaque”

Blend mode set to "Alpha Hashed"Tests.zip (1.6 MB)

The fact that it works with some kinds of transparency but not others makes me think it’s a limit of EEVEE that you’re up against, unfortunately.
