Blender 2.8 excessive crashing

Hey guys
I use blender 2.8 on generation 3 core i5 with intel hd graphics 4000, 8gb ram and clocking at 2.5ghz base speed that boost upto 3ghz.
I knw this is not a powerful pc for graphics as such but the intel hd 4000 graphis support opengl 4. Which is beyond blender 2.8 opengl 3.3 requirement.

Why does this blender keep on crashing when trying to do something out of it. Us this the case else whre. Are poeple uaing dedicated graphics cards not having such issues or. Please advice me.
It will be helpful

is your operating system mac or windows?
I work on both operating systems and I noticed that in windows it is a lot more stable

Windows 10 pro

2.8 is a beta software.
It may crash for various reasons that are not related to display but manipulations not taken into account, yet.
You have to investigate to figure out what succession of events may it crash.
And when you have identified the problem. You would be able to write a bugreport.

I will consider this, so u mean my graphics card is fine for now

There’s your problem.

but maybe try increasing your Vram in your bios and seeing if that helps

Its alaptop no way can i increase vram en its a mobile cpu

If crash does not happen at launching of Blender but after a clic on a tab or a operation ; crash may be related to a bug that is not specific to your hardware.
If crash only occurs on your machine, it is probably related to your hardware : it does not mean that is OpenGL related.

Crush occurs wen ever am setimg up nodes that require inputing lots of texture images

That may be related to memory usage.

You don’t have a graphic card able to handle display of lots of texture at same time.
Just avoid that.
Use Solid mode and render with Cycles if EEVEE is not able to render by using F12 without crashing.

That would be logical that an work in progress like EEVEE is not able to have, yet, all checks and workaround in place to avoid crashes on less powerful hardware.
There are still several months of work before 2.80 release.
If you still experience crashes in 2 months at rendertime, fill a report.

i am running same 3g i5 with hd4000 laptop. but os is ubuntu 18.04, so far less crashing is noticed !

I also recently noticed blender 2.8 is more stable on linux, so that makes me think of open gl en graphics card.

Please just inform our dear blender developers to consider stabilizing it in old machines aswell

Thanks

Actually, yes, depending on your laptop, you can dedicate some more of your dram to vram in the bios

I really dont think soo which option is that
