Blender 4.0 viewport render different from final render

As you can see, the viewport render is wildly different from the final render, and I have no clue why this is happening. I’ve never had this issue in the previous versions.

If I open this project in 3.6, the viewport and final renders look the same.

Am I missing something?

The first two things that come to mind or either lights that are active for the viewport but disabled for render. Or a different colour management setting.

For colour management, make sure that Display Device and Sequencer are set the same.

Also check the compositor, to make sure nothing extra is being done or not.

Really appreciate the quick response. I’ve checked everything you’ve mentioned and nothing seems to be unusual. As I said, this project shows no abnormality in 3.6.

I will try relighting the scene in 4.0 and see if there are any issues. Thanks again.

did you find a fix? I’m having the same issue with 4.0 issues with fog \ volumetric. it shows my fog just fine while it’s rendering and when it’s finish my fog just disappears. I tried this same thing in 3.6 and no issues.
