Blender animation <honyang>

Honyang animation is the adventure of Honyang, Gureung and Meguri,
three baby animals living in Horang Forest

We produced this show for six months. To express the soft fur texture of young animals, we set a large amount of fur. When setting the fur, we first set it with particles, then changed it to a geometry node and set it again. We made it possible to express the movement of muscles when moving. Thank you for watching.

Nicely done!
Is this for a kids show, or a personal project?

And the fur looks really good.
Any tips for people how you did the setups?

Thank you for watching our show

We are VFX & animation studios. is our animation show.

The biggest challenge for this show was render time.

This was due to the large number of fur close-up scenes and the need to set a relatively high number of hairs to achieve a soft look by thinning the hair thickness. This resulted in a lot of noise and flickering even when the sampling was increased. We put a lot of effort into solving this in the compositing stage, using methods such as noise reduction and denoising.

A very nice animation. It made me smile
Have you considered submitting it to the Animation Nights New York (ANNY) film festival?

Amazingly looking short! The only feedback I have is to slightly tone down brightness of color palette and also ease the depth of field. I think this would make the scene even more pleasing to the eye!

Watched this before it was on the feature row and I loved it!

One thing that caught my attention was the eyes of the cat character, they are human looking, not cat eyes. It works because the cat really expresses a lot of emotion, like a human.

The only thing I think it is lacking is sound. Maybe a little intro music. Grunting sounds from the bear when it turns away from the cat. Sad sniffling from the cat when it’s rejected. And just the sounds of nature, like birds chirping, and grass noises when the characters roll around in the grass.

Really a fantastic job!

Randy

Thank you for the detailed and good review. The sound part of the video is going to be remastered. I will post it again after I master it. Thank you.
