Hey Blenderartists,

I’m having an absolute headache trying to test a dynamic clothing workflow using APEX cloth via blender.

There doesn’t seem to be much in the way of tutorials or support with APEX cloth which is a pain, I’ve seen all that I can find.

Basically, when I apply the cloth in APEX, should I have the weights already painted from blender? All the cloth stretches inexplicably when I simulate it and also when I try and load an .APX file into UE4, it does absolutely nothing, no settings show up, nothing at all.

Here’s a screenshot of what it’s currently doing…I understand this probably isn’t that feasible anyway but if anyone has any ideas, I’d love to hear 'em.

fig 1 and 2 show the cloth I want to deform (made in different colours so you can see the layering better)

fig 3 is the test piece I’m showing so you can see which part I’m messing around with…

fig 4 is the stretching issue…the cloth stretches longer than the original size :confused: not sure why or how to fix it.
