Blender Architectural Visualization Artist (Cycles) – Ongoing Work

Hi everyone,

We’re Luminous Labs, a Canadian architectural visualization studio specializing in high-end exterior and interior renderings. You can see our work at [www.luminouslabs.ca]

We’re currently looking to bring on a mid to senior-level Blender artist with strong experience in Cycles for ongoing project work.

  1. What is the type of project? modeling, rendering, motion graphics, games, VFX etc
We are an archviz studio focusing on architectural visualization - exteriors and interiors.

  2. Are you a company or individual? We recommend to post a link to your website.
We are a company, our site can be found at (www.luminouslabs.ca)

  3. What kind of designer are you looking for? Experience level, special skills, etc
We would like someone with medium to sr level experience with this type of work in cycles.

  4. What is the deadline?
Projects would be ongoing but deadlines are usually about 2x weeks from start for rough drafts then another few weeks for revisions depending on the client.

  5. Description of the project. It is best to be clear on what you expect the final project to look like, this will attract higher level designers
High level exterior rendering focusing on photorealism. Interior work would be more of a supervised role with the key work being building from CAD floorplans and asset placement.

  6. What is the budget? This is not obligatory, but it helps a little information, like whether this is for entry level or veteran designer.
Exteriors can range from $1,500 to $3,000 on average. Interior working would likely be hourly depending on how many units we do. Average payout would be $20-25 CAD.

Hi everyone,

Thanks so much to everyone who reached out and shared portfolios. We received a great number of responses and really appreciate the interest.

We’ve now gone through the submissions and have contacted the artists we felt were the best fit for what we’re currently looking for, so for the moment we’re in a good spot.

That said, things move quickly in our industry and we’re always open to connecting with talented artists. If you’d still like to send along your portfolio or resume, feel free to do so and we’d be happy to keep it on file for future projects or openings.

Thanks again for all the interest and for taking the time to reach out.
