I was just going through some analytics of Blender Artists when I noticed the ‘Time to first response’ metric. It measures how long it takes for a first reply (not by the OP) to be posted on average, in minutes. Since the move to Discourse this has gone down drastically:
And zooming in on the last 2 months it seems the trend is continuing:
That’s pretty impressive as it means that Blender Artists is becoming a faster, more responsive community. Of course, a ‘first response’ doesn’t always mean your problem is solved or that the reply is actually meaningful. It could still be a ‘that’s cool!’ kind of reply, but the overall trend is encouraging.
