Blender Asset Preflight PRO — Scan for Unreal, Unity, Godot, ZBrush, 3D Print & Marketplace Issues

Asset Preflight — Blender Asset QA, Export & Pipeline Checker

Stop sending “almost-ready” Blender assets downstream. Scan them before they become someone else’s problem.

Asset Preflight is a powerful Blender 5.x asset inspection add-on that helps you catch broken references, missing textures, bad topology, naming problems, transforms, material issues, budget violations, Unreal/Godot-specific helper issues, and more — before your asset leaves Blender.

30+ Asset Checks • 12+ Workflow Profiles • Target Matrix • Safe Fixes • Verification

:rocket: Built for Real Production Workflows

Choose a ready-made workflow profile or build your own:

  • :video_game: Game / Export

  • :blue_square: Unity

  • :purple_square: Unreal Engine

  • :green_square: Godot

  • :clapper_board: Cinema 4D

  • :moai: ZBrush

  • :printer: 3D Print / Watertight

  • :package: Marketplace / Sale

  • :handshake: Client Handoff

  • :gear: Custom

Then scan your selected objects, collection, or entire scene against the rules that actually matter to you.

:magnifying_glass_tilted_left: What Can It Catch?

Asset Preflight includes checks for:

Missing/external images • Empty material slots • Naming rules • Unapplied/negative scale • Ngons • Non-manifold geometry • Degenerate geometry • Watertight topology • Triangle budgets • Material-slot budgets • Texture-size budgets • Required references • Visibility/modifier states • Custom roots

Plus target-specific checks such as:

Unreal collision & socket helper naming and Godot import-name suffix rules.

:high_voltage: Target Compatibility Matrix

Want to know what your asset looks like against multiple production targets?

Run the Target Compatibility Matrix and compare defined Blender-side rules for Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, Cinema 4D, ZBrush, 3D Print, Motion Graphics and Interchange workflows.

No fake simulation. No green “certification” button.

It scans your real Blender data and tells you what passed, what is blocked, and what needs review.

:shield: Built With Trust in Mind

Scanning does not modify your asset.

Most findings are detection-only. Eligible repairs require you to select the items, review the proposed operation, and explicitly confirm.

Supported workflows include verified Apply Scale and Remove Empty Material Slots repairs, plus an explicit Voxel Remesh & Verify workflow for 3D-print topology.

:gem_stone: Why Buy Asset Preflight?

Because finding a problem before delivery is cheap.

Finding it after:

  • an engine import fails

  • a client sends it back

  • textures are missing

  • topology breaks

  • naming doesn’t match the pipeline

  • a print fails

  • or another artist has to debug your scene

…isn’t.

Asset Preflight turns “I think it’s ready” into a repeatable preflight workflow.

:sparkles: Key Benefits

:check_mark: Scan only what you choose
:check_mark: Ready-to-use workflow presets
:check_mark: Custom rules & thresholds
:check_mark: Target Compatibility Matrix
:check_mark: Detailed issue diagnostics
:check_mark: Safe-fix approval workflow
:check_mark: Post-fix verification
:check_mark: Blender-native workflow
:check_mark: No external service required
:check_mark: No automatic saving or silent asset modification

:warning: Important

Asset Preflight is a Blender-side inspection and preflight tool, not an external application certification system. It does not export files or guarantee that an external engine, DCC, marketplace, renderer, printer, or importer will accept an asset.

If your asset leaves Blender, run Preflight first.

Asset Preflight — Stop guessing. Define your checks. Run preflight.

Compatibility: Blender 5.1.1 and 5.2.0 LTS runtime-tested; Blender 5.0 API reviewed but not runtime-tested in the development environment.

One more completely AI generated add-on…

Not completely, Ai helps to some extent for mainly planning the features and current market gap but coding and testing cant be completely done by ai. How will you test in different blender versions with just ai? How will you implement better user experience with ai? How will you check that features are actually working with just ai?

It just feels as if there is very little you actually contributed to this yourself. Even the description is AI generated. Doesn’t feel like a product made by a person. Also it’s supposed to be

?

Well, I don’t trust it. Because I don’t trust AI alone.

The description is full of made up terminology that makes little sense. Just random gobbledygook buzzwords that don’t actually mean anything inserted here and there for it to sound cool:

Doesn’t inspire trust… If you did not make the effort to filter this AI nonsense even from the description I can only imagine what the code is like… seems like low effort, low value AI slop. :man_shrugging:

Im not native english speaker, so i usually generate description from ai , its easier for avoiding mistakes and about trust, it depends, people usually do their own research and check other plugins developed by the plugin developer, its easier that way.
