Blender changing geometry on its own; a very annoying bug

So I’ve been modeling a Gibson Les Paul guitar, as you can see in the following screenshot:

And I’ve been trying to rotate the selected part of the mesh a bit around the X axis of the 3D cursor (as you can see in the screenshot above). Howsoever, when I try to rotate it (even by 0 degrees by clicking R and then Left Click) this catastrophe happens:

I mean, just who the hell told Blender to screw up the bevels?!
