Blender default modeling interface brightness/contrast

Hello,

This has probably been answered before but I can’t seem to come up with the answer by searching…

How can I change the brightness and contrast of the modeling views (especially in edit mode) in Blender? Sometimes Vertices and edges are becoming unrecognizable against the inside shading on some normals behind them. I’d rather switch this in specifically in Blender instead of on my monitor settings.

Alternately, is there any way to switch the default colors of vertices, edges and faces in user prefs?

Thanks in advance for assistance!

User Preferences / Themes

Change each component yourself or use one of the preset themes

Look in the 3D View section

When you have made your changes press the ‘Save User Settings’ button to save the changes in your startup file

Thanks, much appreciated!
