Blender + external Fluid Simulator?

Do you know any external fluidapplication Blender can work with?
I want to export a Blender-animation and import it in a fluid-simulation-software.
Then i need to render it in any way.

Blenders internal fluid-Sim is not good enaugh for some projects. I would need foam, spray and so on…
I also need higher resolutions but blender crashes when using resolutions higher than 600 (i have enaugh memory!).


I suggest ocean modifier. That will give you some preety nice results.
Also try to search on the internet there are alot of tutorials about dynamic oceans.
