Blender Fluid Sim Problems


I have a problem with the blender fluid simulation.

The water goes partially through the object as you can see here:

Your domain object is way too big so you are wasting precious fluid resolution. Make it a cube only as big as it needs to be.
Ensure all fluids, domains, obstacles have a scale of 1 before baking (apply scale with Ctrl+A)
Don’t use the glass as the obstacle, only use that for rendering. Use a proxy object which is slightly smaller to take into account of the fluid bleed through.


Fluid res at 200 to speed up baking. You should be able to see the slightly smaller lower res proxy object used for baking inside the glass
