blender game engine help.

1)well i have a marble track and for some reason when i press p to play in game mode the inside of the track becomes invisible. the track is made of a biezer curve converted into a mesh.

left image is a view of the track from the outside no problems there.
right is a view from the inside.
both show material settings on side.

2)Another thing is how do i make the outside and inside slitley see-through?

  1. the ball is rolling around going up and down side to side exct. any way to make the camera follow its rotation and movement, but not the rotation of the rollingbecause then its just non stop spinning . sorry that is badly worded not shure how to properly describe it.

try switching to textured mode

And adding a texture. . .

that problem is caused due to normals. you can flip the normals going to edit mode select all verts click ‘Flip directions’. but i think making the track transparent instead might be a better idea. use vertex parenting for getting rid of rotating camera.

Thanks everyone, well it turns out mohd.itqan was right i did have to flip directions, alsomohd.itqan thanks for the link it was exactly what i was looking for descriptive and had visuals!

hehe whenever u feel something is missing just check the normals XDDD <— thumb rule for finding lost objects in BGE.
troubled me a lot of times when i was a noob

yah i also duplicated the pipe and flipped the direction of one of them so i could go from outside to inside!

1)also would u happen to know how to delete all keyframes at once without having to select them 1 by one, like a keystroke. I was in blender game engine and was recoding an animation it turned out to be 2,000 frames +.
2)also would u know how to speed things up in the game engin.it looks all slowmo.

Thanks for the help.

ooh and for the keyframes i have 2,000 keyframes on 700 items i dont want to have to delete all keyframes one object at a time, can i select all objects and delete all key frames? that leads me to a second question you know how when ur on the desktop u can click and hold and make the box and everything in the box is selected can u do that in blender?
Sorry for being such a noob
-Andrew

Try pressing “a” and then “x”

yep, its called box select, just press ‘b’ key on your keyboard and rest should be self explanatory ;).
