So, this is my “final” as of this evening.

I really planned on attempting this, and had, what I think, was a really cool idea, but procrastinated on doing the work on this. I’ll keep the project in mind, because it seems like something that would be fun to do (and could feed into another passion of mine in a way that I could merge the two). I almost wish I knew a good concept artist who could sketch out my idea much better than I could, because, at least for me at this point in my journey, it helps to have that modeling sheet. Especially since I haven’t attempted a project like this before. But I look forward to doing another contest sometime! 
(BTW, loving seeing the artwork being created by others for this contest!)

So this is my entry. I learned a lot from this again.
- I used lot of materials that I didn’t do before
- I had to figure out texturing on a higher level
- I used compositor nodes for security camera effect (also animated nodes so the rec point blinks and electrical error creates an artifact)
- I used particles for the teleportation effect.
Oh and a painful 33 hours of rendering… I have to learn ways of optimising render times.
Holy crap, so much learning.
Tried normal maps on the walls and floor. Don’t know if you’ll be able to see the difference.

Crap, dont know why it kept the old version. Cant seem to get rid of it. Go with the one on the top
