Blender is incapable ot showing other reflections?

I have the transmission all the way up, screen space reflections and refraction enabled, and then all I did was add an image texture node to the world background node. That’s it. But no matter what image I load, the result is only a monotone color, eevee for some reason can’t render any actual background image. In the materials view there’s a park and some trees which looks good but rendered view is just useless.

Eevee is able to render reflections from environment textures, but you can’t use the Image Texture node. You need to use the Environment Texture node:

The Texture Coordinate and Mapping nodes are there for extra control, but it would work without those two nodes. If you have any questions, let me know.
