Blender Logo Animation?

Well, I am making one of my first Blender animations ever, of a discombobulated Blender Logo mesh. I thought it was O.K. for a first attempt, but I’d like to here your feedback.:eyebrowlift2:



Now, my question is, how do I move the text to a separate layer so that I can set the overhead lamps not to shine on that layer? And also, is it possible to apply ambient light to just a single layer? If so, how?

Yeh! I love the (suicidator?) on that logo. Composition is very good as well. can’t wait to see what else you come up with.

Cheers! Total render time looking at 2-3 days for a sum of 645 frames. I’m also planning to do some touching up in After Effects.
~(The Suicidator would have probably been to time consuming to apply to the mesh. I used the Discombobulator)
