Blender powered 3D printing app

Hi Blender community,
I’ve built a webapp for creating 3D printed figurines, and I have used Blender extensively, in particular:

  • Design of model parts
  • 3D printing optimization (carving)
  • Export scripts for web and 3D printing
  • Batch-rendering of icons

Left: in-app viewer, Right, 3D printed result

I plan to release most of my scripts and assets, together with an article explaining how the whole thing work when I get some time. Also, I have more plans for parametric web-based 3D printing apps like this, where I think Blender can really be a huge advantage because of its hackability. Tell me if you are interested!

I’m looking for early feedback on the app (I expect the audience to be mostly kids :)). I plan to launch the app in France first (hence the french sounding name), but I haven’t found a cool international name (I’m thinking things like 3Dpup, pupworkshop…) so I’m totally open for suggestions

I understand that this is quite different from the other projects usually posted here, sorry if this doesn’t fit the forum section.
