Hello to all! Blender delays me. Closer and closer is the moment when for illustrations, I no longer need to leave it and use third-party editors. Speed sculpt+vertex paint+shape keys.

the facial expresion , are thy shape keys ,rigged, or just textures ?
I wrote in the description. Probably need more detail. Blender 2.8 eevee. I pretty quickly made a sculpture. After that, he also quickly painted the vertices. Three layers. Base colors, Metal reflections, glare reflections. Put the light - five lamps. Then he played a little with shape keys.

The ultimate goal - to make like Peter Denis, McBride and Turner. 
Nice. Put an opening in the top, flatten the base, and it would have the makings of a ceramic mug.

Yes, somewhat like a Royal Doulton face mug.
Wow! Even more convinced that I was going the right way. An additional confirmation that the illustration can be done completely in Blender. Like McBride.
