Blender technique (-toon-)

is there a possiblity to create more colored edges in blender? ( i mean, that every object has its own edge color. edge effect is postprocess and in render buttons…)
For example this:
is this image: http://stickventuras.keenspace.com/comics/20040802.gif
a blender-made one?
if yes can the owner write, what technique is used…

The link seems to be broken for me. All I get is a 1x1 pixel jpeg … :slight_smile:

(you can’t do 1x1 images in blender, the smallest size is 4x4 :wink: )

// bagge

Hmm … that means that I can’t render a lo-res Tic-Tac-Toe board :stuck_out_tongue:

The “1x1 pixel jpeg” reminds me of an old spammer trick, and why you should turn off html in your mail client. The way it worked was a 1X1 white pixel jpg was embedded in the html. The imaged was linked from a remote sever so that when you open the email it would download the 1x1 image from the remote server which then stored where the image request came from.
That way the spammer got a list of valid addresses just by you opening the email.

Now to answer the question. The only way that I know is to render the objects separately and combine them later in the sequence editor. Others may know a better method.
