In the timeline, the frame number i am at and the vertical line or the slider line shows at a different frame. The frame number showing is for example at 23 but the vertical line will be left behind at 10.
The vertical line isn’t a marker is it?
Or the current set scene range?
May need to see a screen shot to better understand what’s going on.
